Chin Tuck

Lower Back Bodyweight bodyweight reps

Also works: Traps, Upper Back

How to do it

  1. Sit or stand upright with shoulders relaxed and eyes looking straight ahead.
  2. Brace lightly through your midsection and keep your jaw relaxed.
  3. Without tilting your head up or down, draw your chin straight backward as if sliding your head along a track.
  4. Feel the back of your neck lengthen and the front of your neck gently engage; keep eyes level.
  5. Hold for 3–5 seconds while breathing normally.
  6. Slowly return to the starting position and repeat for 8–12 controlled reps.

In FYL you log the Chin Tuck as bodyweight reps — every set counts toward your volume, PRs and XP.
