Exercise
Strongman Car Flip
How to do it
- Stand facing the object with feet just outside shoulder width and toes slightly out; brace your core and set a neutral spine.
- Hinge and squat to reach under the edge with a mixed or supinated grip, keeping the object close to your shins and chest up.
- Pack the lats and take the slack out, then drive through your heels to extend knees and hips together to bring the object to mid‑thigh.
- As it rises, step one foot forward and transition one or both hands to a pushing position on the edge.
- Continue driving hips forward and use your legs and chest to tip the object past its balance point—do not curl with the arms.
- Push it over and guide the descent, keeping fingers clear of the landing zone.
- Reset your stance, re-brace, and repeat for the next rep, avoiding rounding or twisting under load.
