Resistance Band Foot Inversion

Calves Band weight & reps

How to do it

  1. Sit tall with knees bent ~90°, heel of the working foot on the floor and toes slightly dorsiflexed.
  2. Loop the band around the forefoot and anchor it to the outside (under the opposite foot or a sturdy object) so it pulls laterally.
  3. Brace the lower leg; do not let the knee or hip move.
  4. Pull the inside edge of the foot inward (invert) against the band in a slow, controlled motion.
  5. Pause 1–2 seconds at end range without pain or cramping.
  6. Return slowly to neutral under control; avoid letting the band snap you back or everting past neutral.
  7. Keep heel down and avoid excessive plantarflexion; breathe steadily.
  8. Complete desired reps, then switch sides.
