Exercise
Resistance Band Foot Inversion
How to do it
- Sit tall with knees bent ~90°, heel of the working foot on the floor and toes slightly dorsiflexed.
- Loop the band around the forefoot and anchor it to the outside (under the opposite foot or a sturdy object) so it pulls laterally.
- Brace the lower leg; do not let the knee or hip move.
- Pull the inside edge of the foot inward (invert) against the band in a slow, controlled motion.
- Pause 1–2 seconds at end range without pain or cramping.
- Return slowly to neutral under control; avoid letting the band snap you back or everting past neutral.
- Keep heel down and avoid excessive plantarflexion; breathe steadily.
- Complete desired reps, then switch sides.
