Tap any exercise for step-by-step instructions, muscles worked and a demo. Log any of them — sets, reps and PRs — in FYL.
Your abs resist and produce trunk flexion — they brace your squats and deadlifts as much as they crunch. Train both jobs: weighted flexion like cable crunches, and anti-extension work like planks and rollouts.
Abs recover fast: 2–4 short sessions a week works well. Go weighted in the 8–15 rep range rather than endless bodyweight reps once crunches get easy.
